About the Event
Camp Bumblebee is a week long spring break camp created especially for children of color in grades K-4. Our goal is to provide a safe, joyful, and affordable space where children can learn , play and just be a child while school is out.
Camp runs 9am-3pm and includes breakfast, lunch , and snacks each day.
Throughout the week campers will explore gardening, art, language, and literacy with lots of outdoor play, and take fun walking trips to Alberta Park. Camp Bumblebee is all about curiosity, creativity, and community in an environment where every child is seen, valued, and supported.
Camp Director is Nikk Sandoval is a Portland based educator, garden director, and literacy advocate. She is the creator of Camp Bumblebee, a spring break camp estabished 2023. Sponsored by Sabin CDC, Black Parent Initiative

By registering for Camp Bumblebee you are enrolling your child in a week long spring break camp running 9am-3pm that includes: Breakfast, lunch and Snacks and activities for $99 per child for the week. Additional camp policies, schedules, and emergency form will be provided upon confirmation. No REFUNDS.
